Nothing Phone (1) Android 13 Closed Beta Testing Starts

Last week, Mr. Carl Pei, the founder of Nothing, announced on Twitter some good news for users of Nothing phones (1) – “The first build of Android 13 is working much better than expected”. This means that the company is quietly starting internal testing of the Android 13 beta program for the Nothing phone (1).

After a week of internal testing, OnePlus co-founder Mr. Carl Pai has announced the Nothing OS Android 13 Closed Beta, which starts rolling out today. Meanwhile, they also confirmed that the Open Beta of Android 13 would start in two weeks.

However, the Chinese tech representative has not yet shared the process to register for the Android 13 closed beta update. Moreover, the company also hasn’t specified the regions where the company is rolling out the Android 13 closed beta update for the Nothing phone (1).

However, we can expect the Nothing Phone (1) Android 13 open beta test to be available to Nothing Phone (1) users worldwide in the coming days. In the meantime, we expect the Android 13-based Nothing OS stable version to be released in 2023. However, the Chinese tech giant has not confirmed the specific release date or schedule of the stable Android 13 update yet.

Android 13-based NothingOS Features:

As of now, “Nothing” has not yet confirmed any other information regarding its new features, but it will include all the features Google introduced in the latest Android 13 update. This new beta update brings a lot of Android 13 sweetness, including multilingual app language preferences, New media controls, More Material You color options, a new Photo Picker feature, and more.
