Samsung One UI 5.0 Fingerprint Animation Change is Minor

Nowadays, Samsung is testing the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 firmware update for some eligible Galaxy devices. Beginning of last month, the South Korean tech giant presented the One UI 5.0 Beta 1 with new features and improvements, while there are many features that are minor changes to the One UI 4.0. One of them is One UI 5.0 Fingerprint Animation changes.

Over the years, Samsung has added several improvements in fingerprint animation. With the One UI 4.0, The tech giant made a major switch in the fingerprint scanner animation. With the Android 13-based One UI 5.0, Samsung modified the negligible change in the in-display fingerprint recognition animation over the One UI 4.1. With the latest version, the fingerprint animation shows the outward round wave when unlocking the phone via the fingerprint scanner. On One UI 5.1, this wave only has a rapid twisting effect that keeps rotating as the wave expands. This minor change is most visible on lighter wallpaper, while dark wallpapers can not show them effectively. This is a minor change with the One UI 5.0 software update.
