Updated – Once again Oppo announced the second batch of Android 13-based ColorOS 13 beta program for OPPO A74 5G users of Indonesia & India. And there’s a quota of 5000 applicants set.
If you want to try the ColorOS 13 skin into your OPPO A74 5G device, confirm your phone has updated to ColorOS 12 Base Version first: C.48 and go into Settings > About device > Tap the top of the page > Tap the icon on the top right> Trial versions > Fill in your information > Apply Now.

From September 2022, OPPO has started rolling out a stable ColorOS 13 update for the OPPO Find X5 and Find Z5G Pro. Till now, many device owners have received this update. Meanwhile, some eligible devices are yet to receive the ColorOS 13 beta update. Now, the Chinese organization has officially started to roll out the Android 13-based ColorOS 13 beta for A74 5G owners.
While the ColorOS 13 beta is only available on OPPO A74 5G’s 5000 users in India and Indonesia right now, the company plans on rolling it out to more users, devices and regions in the near future. Also, the application for Android 13-based ColorOS 13 beta for A74 5G is open from today (November 17, 2022) till November 23, 2022, and can be accepted in batches according to availability.
Do note that the ColorOS 13 beta update may bring some bugs, and some apps may not work properly. After updating to the latest beta version, the operating system also automatically optimizes your device to adopt the latest version, which may lead to various issues like overheating, slowing down and or draining the battery quickly. Therefore, we recommend that you do not install the beta version on your primary phone.
If you want to apply for the beta, make sure your A74 5G device is updated to the required version A.46/A.47. Also, if you get this software update after applying for the beta, make sure to back up important data to prevent any data loss.

Now, go to the device’s Settings, scroll down and click on the About phone, tap on the Official version, then click on the three dots icon on the top right and click on the Trial version and fill in your information and Apply now.
