Will OnePlus 11 Provide Better Battery Life With OxygenOS 13?

Ever since the release of OxygenOS 13, OnePlus users have been grappling with battery drainage issues with their smartphones. But here is the question: the New year’s flagship, the OnePlus 11, will provide better battery life with Oxygen 13.

OnePlus is gearing up to launch the next-gen OnePlus 11, which will launch on January 4 in China before traveling to India. The flagship phones of 2023 are usually released a bit earlier than usual, offering everyone a buying option during the New year.

The OnePlus 11 will introduce new hardware and software, including the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and OxygenOS 13. OnePlus is the first non-Google brand to roll out Android 13 for its 2022 flagship: the OnePlus 10 Pro.

The question is, will the OnePlus 11 offer better battery life with OxygenOS 13? Yes! It’s time for a new renovation of the OnePlus. The flagship OnePlus 11 will be using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform is intelligently engineered with groundbreaking AI across the board to enable genuinely exceptional experiences. Qualcomm says it can deliver up to 35% faster performance than last year’s 8 Gen 1. Also, the company claims that this chip has 40% better power efficiency than last year. Therefore, the upcoming OnePlus 11 will offer better battery life with OxygenOS 13

On the other hand, the upcoming OnePlus 11 will launch with some higher-end specifications than the OnePlus 10 series and is rumored to come with Android 13-based OxygenOS 13.1 out-of-the-box.

The upcoming OxygenOS 13.1 is aimed at three fundamental areas of the operating system, including privacy, multimedia and performance tuning. Hence, we expect the Chinese tech giant to improve the battery life of the OnePlus smartphones.
