OnePlus 10 Pro Is Getting The December 2022 Security Update

Up until this point, OnePlus has served a number of its flagship models and mid-rangers with the December 2022 update. However, due to some unknown reasons, the manufacturer left this good part for the OnePlus 10 series smartphones. But it looks like the tech giant has finally heeded its users and has started rolling out the December 2022 Android security patch for the OnePlus 10 Pro.

Finally! The wait is over; the OnePlus 10 Pro is getting the December 2022 security update with OxygenOS 13 version NE2211_11_C.25. The phone is getting this version with an update package size of 484MB. As always, the update is being released in batches, and it is suggested that you grab this new firmware as soon as it appears on your smartphone.

However, at this point in time, the update is only available to a limited number of users in India. But the company will gradually scale up the iteration to more users and regions in the coming days.

OnePlus 10 Pro December 2022 Update :

The latest security update (not January 2023) comes with improved system security and stability to enhance the user’s experience. However, the official changelog of the update does not mention any new features or major changes. Meanwhile, according to OnePlus’s December 2022 security patch description, it brings fixes for dozens of privacy and security-related issues and exploits.

In addition to these improvements, this security patch fixes several bugs and security issues in your OnePlus smartphone, including kernel and data. Plus, it also solves the issue where the Eye comfort mode might not work in certain scenarios.

How To Update :

If you live in India and haven’t received the update notification yet, you can check for the update by navigating to Settings >> System >> Software update. To download it, click on the Download button followed by Install, then reboot.
