YouTube Music is a music application developed by Google that allows users to browse songs and music videos on YouTube by genres, playlists, and recommendations. According to the information, Google has started rolling out a new update to the YouTube Music app, redesigning the Library user interface on Android and iOS.

In this recent development, the search tech giant has redesigned the Library UI with lots of functions; now, you can switch between Library, Downloads, Uploads, and Device files. After the update, you get a row of chips for Playlists, Songs, Albums, and Artists at the library user interface’s top, which filters through the list that makes up the rest of this page.
Selecting the first three options will bring up a new Downloaded filter, while there will be a filter for Subscriptions with Artists. Finally, a dropdown menu lets you sort by music with Recent Activity, Recently Added, and Recently Played.
Prior to this update, much of the Library had not changed since YouTube Music’s 2018 relaunch. Along with the modernization of Home and Explore, as well as the upgrade, the Library remained last, and the category list remained. With this improvement, YouTube Music shows you content instantly.
Notably, this major redesign of the Library tab is now available on Android and iOS. If you haven’t seen the feature yet, you can update your YouTube Music app to the latest version from the Google Play Store.
Users can identify the latest update of the YouTube Music app with version number 5.38 for Android and 5.39 for iOS, and the installation weight is around 12.25MB. However, the update is currently rolling out slowly, and you can check whether your phone’s app has received the update or not.
