OxygenOS 13 Open Beta Is Now Available For The OnePlus Nord CE 2

Late last month, OnePlus rolled out the OxygenOS 13 stable build for its most affordable Nord series, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite, which includes an array of impressive features alongside its brand-new Aquamorphic design. Now, the company is rolling out a new OxygenOS 13 open beta build for the OnePlus Nord CE 2, which brings a host of new features, optimizations, and bug fixes.

The OxygenOS 13 Open beta gives users a chance to experience the Android 13 release ahead of the stable rollout. Also, you can submit applications for the OxygenOS 13 Open Beta for Nord CE 2T 5G till the evening of January 12, 2023, and they will be accepted in batches.

According to the announcement post on the OnePlus Community forums, OxygenOS 13 Open Beta for OnePlus Nord CE 2 brings a new Aquamorphic design to the device, with new theme colors for visual comfort, updated animations, optimized fonts, and new illustrations. It also introduces a new meeting assistant, support for large folders on the home screen, media playback controls in Quick Settings, and new markup tools for screenshot editing.

On the other hand, this is an OxygenOS 13 open beta update and not a stable version, which can have unexpected effects on your phone and affect daily life, and some third-party app versions are not compatible with Android 13 yet. So, we recommend that you do not install the beta version on your primary phone.

If you wish to try out OxygenOS 13 Open Beta on your OnePlus Nord CE 2 despite the aforementioned issues, you’ll have to update your device to the latest OxygenOS 12 release (IV2201_11_C.09 and IV2201_11_C.10.).

How To Apply :

To apply this OxygenOS 13 beta update on your Nord CE 2 in India. Navigate to Settings, then go to the About device, and Official tap Version. From here, click on the icon in the top right, select Beta Program and hit the on Beta option, fill in your information and finally, tap on Apply Now.

Specifically, you will receive this update within five working days of the successful submission of your application; You can check for the update by going to your device’s Settings > About device > Download now.
