OnePlus To Sports Text Extraction Feature With OxygenOS 13.1

The OnePlus 11 series is likely to debut the next stable iteration of the OxygenOS operating system after introducing the OxygenOS 13.1 with its next flagship lineup. OxygenOS 13.1 is not too far from appearing among OnePlus fans. In the meantime, we are expecting to see some new tweaks, like the Text Extraction feature with the new firmware.

Similar to OxygenOS 13, the upcoming OxygenOS 13.1 version will also be based on the Android 13 operating system. Plus, the forthcoming OxygenOS 13.1 update may bring more useful features as well as optimization to the system. The Chinese tech giant would deliver it to some older OnePlus devices such as the OnePlus 10 series, OnePlus 9 series, and the latest Nord series.

However, there are a few features in OnePlus OxygenOS 13 that are quite interesting as well as useful. Nevertheless, the system lacks text extraction functions for its users. However, the Chinese tech maker allows copying text from an image. But users are looking for help that can allow them to extract the text directly.

Although, One UI 5.0 and iOS 16 have an Extract text feature which we can see in the OnePlus OxygenOS 13.1 software. Apple and Samsung have built-in a function to copy text from an image, whether it’s a screenshot or a book, a receipt, or any other image you’ve taken with your phone.

What Is Text Extraction ?

The Extract Text feature allows users to copy text from any image or screenshot and paste it into any Messages app, Notes app, or document on their device. In addition, the feature has the ability to copy text from any board, banner, etc., through the keyboard and send it to anyone without capturing images. Moreover, the Extract Text Feature can help when you need to copy an image or text from the Internet and send it to a friend.
