A few days back, Android researcher Mishaal Rahman reported some of the latest information that Google is working on locator tag support in Fast Pair. Meanwhile, Kuba Wojciechowski also shared some information regarding Google’s Smart tracker Tag; similar to the AirTag, Google’s developer team has been working on a device codenamed “grogu,”.
According to the report, “grogu” (alternatively “groguaudio” or “GR10”)is currently being developed by the Nest team, which will support both BLE and the very tracker-friendly UWB.
