OnePlus, Realme And Oppo May Soon Get Single-App Recording Feature

OnePlus, OPPO and Realme are Chinese consumer electronics manufacturers which are themselves subsidiaries of BBK Electronics. The smartphones from the Chinese brand are currently running on OxygenOS 13, ColorOS 13, and Realme UI 4.0 custom skins, respectively. On the other hand, these companies are trying to mix some of the best elements in their next upgrade. The single app recording feature should be in the upcoming UI.

Single App Recording Feature :

You may have heard about the partial screen-sharing feature in the Google QPR beta program. The valuable feature made its debut with Android 13 QPR1 Beta 1. And on the other hand, recent reports suggest that the tech giant is improving Android’s built-in screen recorder so that users can record single apps instead of the entire screen.

Why could OnePlus, Realme, and Oppo get a single-app recording feature?

When you start a screen recording session on your OnePlus, Realme, and OPPO smartphones, everything on display gets captured, which can be a privacy risk. To avoid this, all smartphone maker companies can soon introduce a single app recording feature.

As per previous reports, Google is working on a per-app recording feature that will provide users with a dropdown toggle, allowing them to choose between recording the entire screen or a single app. Read more here…

Note that this feature is still in the development phase. So, we expect a partial screen recording with the feature drop, but we don’t have an official confirmation. So we can expect that OnePlus, Realme and Oppo will get the single app recording feature with the upcoming UIs.
