WhatsApp beta This Week Brings New Camera Mode, Fonts, Haptic Feedback And More

WhatsApp is one chat application that continues to make surprising and valuable additions to its users. WhatsApp has announced a lot of new features this week with beta updates that optimize the overall chat experience. New features include a new camera mode, fonts, haptic feedback, and more.

Amazingly, these new features are available for Android as well as iOS systems. Notably, some features are still under development. So, it may happen that you may not get it immediately, but after a few days or weeks with a new update, you will get it.

Being a beta iteration, these new features were currently available only to a select few customers after installing the latest beta from Google Play Store and will be available to even more users in the coming days.

Check out the new features of WhatsApp below

WhatsApp introduced new font features for beta users with version number 2.23.3.7. This feature revamped the text editor for future updates of the app. Also, using some new advanced tools like Alignment Text Manager will make it easier to edit your text within images, videos, and GIFs.

New Camera Mode:

This feature lets you use the camera with a new experience by recording hands-free videos. You can enjoy this feature after installing the WhatsApp 2.23.2.73 update for Android (and the latest version, 2.23.1.76, from the Google Play Store).

Haptic Feedback:

On January 25, WhatsApp rolled out a new beta version for Android users that brings a new haptic feedback feature for minor improvements in responses. This feature is its ability to make it clear to you that it is reacting to a message. We think this great feature can be useful for making responses more interactive. Read more here…
