Messages are the official Google application for texting and chatting. To improve its features, the search tech giant constantly updates the app with new features and changes. Now, with the latest update, the company is rolling out reactions using any emoji feature for the Google Messages application.

For your information, let us tell you that the company started testing the ability to react with any emoji in November 2022, and now it is getting wider availability. According to the information earlier, the reactions using any emoji feature were limited to seven reactions; now, you can select any emoji.

To Reactions Using Any Emoji:

First, long press an SMS text or RCS chat and select seven reactions such as thumbs up/down, smiling face with heart-eyes, face with tears of joy, face with open mouth, crying face, and angry face. Send direct feedback.

Also, you can send more emojis to react with by tapping on the new ‘plus’ sign at the end. This brings up the in-built emoji picker in Messages. There is a search field at the top and ten categories at the bottom. As you scroll, the sheet expands, with the newest one at the top.
