On February 7, 2023, the company officially teased the OnePlus foldable phone at the Cloud 11 launch event, indicating the launch timeline of the upcoming OnePlus foldable and flip smartphones.
OnePlus Teasing Its V Fold & V Flip Smartphone Officially: Launch Timeline
As mentioned above, OnePlus has teased teaser images of the upcoming Fold and Flip devices. The teaser suggests that the upcoming foldable smartphones will be launched between July and September of 2023.
While the brand officially confirms that it will soon unveil its first Fold, it comes as no surprise, as rumors about the OnePlus V Fold and OnePlus V Flip have been floating around lately. To recall, a few weeks ago, the OnePlus V Fold and V Flip were already trademarked by CNIPA ( Chinese Intellectual Property Administration.)
Going forward, a tipster pointed to the trademark filing and revealed that these smartphones are being tested in various places, including Europe. It looks like OnePlus wants to draw an analogy with Oppo’s foldable and flip devices, named Oppo Find N2 and Find N2 Flip, respectively, that was announced a few months back in China.
Now, there are possibilities that OnePlus has shown both foldables in the teaser, but there is also a possibility that it could be the same device.
