Realme’s First Phone Ready For February 2023 Security Update, Check Now

Finally, the Chinese tech makers have started rolling out the latest February 2023 security update, and Realme 9 Pro 5G smartphone users have become the first ones to receive it. This new security patch aims to improve the system’s security and reliability to provide a better user experience.

According to the shared screenshot, Realme 9 Pro 5G smartphone users are receiving the February 2023 security update with Realme UI build version RMX3471_11_C.10. Along with that, it has an 834.23MB installation package which itself shows minor optimizations. Since the build is not heavy, you can install it through your regular mobile network.

Moving on, the changelog of the patch does not include any new features or major changes for your device. Still, it does mention system security enhancements for the month of January and February 2023. Apart from this, it also fixes some bugs and provides better performance for your device.

Changelog:

Security

  • Integrates Android security patches For January and February 2023.

System

  • Improved system performance.
  • Fixed some known issues to improve system stability

Talking about the availability, the update is first being rolled out in the Indian market through OTA (over-the-air) format. It may take some time to reach every eligible unit in the country. We suggest you be patient and wait for your turn. Instead, you can also check for patches manually.

To check for the update, go to Settings on your phone. From here click on About device and tap on the Realme UI version. Wait for the phone to check for available updates, once available, tap on the Download and Install button, and once the update is installed, reboot the device.
