Samsung Officially Confirms One UI 5.1 Supported Devices

Finally, on 01 February 2023, Samsung released the much-awaited Galaxy S23 series in the global market and along with it, the company also unveiled One UI 5.1. The latest S series smartphones come with One UI 5.1/Android 13 out-of-the-box with a host of new features. Also, the rumors about the upcoming Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 are at its peak.

Samsung has always focused on giving the utmost benefits to its users with its hardware and software products. Also, the next-gen Galaxy S23 series with One UI 5.1 will be showcased at Samsung Unpacked next month, while various Galaxy devices are set to receive the update.

Alongside the new Galaxy S23 series at Samsung Galaxy Unpacked, we expect the South Korean firm to announce the public rollout plans of its next major software release, One UI 5.1. Meanwhile, we’re starting to get some hints about Samsung’s upgrade plans for its existing Galaxy phones.

One UI 5.1 Officially Confirmed: Which Phones Will Get It

Earlier in the week, Samsung Electronics announced new software updates for the Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch four series, bringing enhanced content capture to Galaxy users everywhere. Furthermore, this latest update brings the previously announced camera controller zoom feature.

As per a previous report, the feature will be available on the Galaxy Watch5, Watch5 Pro, Watch4, and Watch4 Classic when paired with a Galaxy smartphone with One UI 5.1 or above camera controller app support.

On the flip side, the latest software update for the Galaxy Watch 5 includes a changelog that apparently references the upcoming supported devices of One UI 5.1. Notably, Samsung has mentioned in the changelog of the new camera controller zoom feature that it is only supported on flagship models released after the Samsung Galaxy S20 or Z Flip.
