Xiaomi-sub-brand POCO recently unveiled the POCO X5 Pro smartphone in India as well as in global markets. Moreover, Indian users have been waiting for the mid-range POCO X5, and the Chinese tech is now all set to expand its product portfolio with another budget C-series smartphone in the country.

A few days back, Poco took to Twitter to confirm the affordable POCO C55 smartphone coming to India. According to reports, the POCO C55 is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi 12C that was first launched in China. Today, POCO’s new C-series phone, the POCO C55, is official as the company took to Twitter to publish its official promo video.

Furthermore, the video also revealed its design, availability, and launch date. The upcoming affordable C-series phone will come with Show stopper, Pro performance, Endless gaming, Entertainment unlimited, and good looks. Let’s take a look at the details.

POCO C55 Launch Date & Availability:

Per the official promo video, POCO C55 will be launched in India on February 21, 2023, at 12 noon on Flipkart. The company uses the “SWAG SPEED” title to market this phone as it comes with decent specifications and design in a budget segment.

POCO C55 Design:

The POCO C55 has already confirmed that the phone comes with a fantastic design to avoid the “case”. The promo video reveals that the handset will sport a leather finish at the back, along with the brand’s signature camera bar.

Moving on, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor is housed in the enormous black island at the top, joined by a large POCO logo on the right and a dual-camera system on the left. Between those cameras is a circle for the LED flash and another process that says “AI.” In addition, we can see the phone will come with a dual camera sensor and forest green color option and looks quite pleasing.

POCO C55 Specifications:

The official promo video doesn’t reveal the specification of the smartphone. But the POCO C55 is expected to launch as a rebranded version of the Redmi 12C. Suppose the handset is a rebranded variant of that model. So, it will feature a 6.71-inch 720×1650 LCD touchscreen, MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, 4/6GB RAM, 64/128GB storage, 50 MP rear camera with 0.08 MP depth sensor, 5 MP selfie snapper, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 10W wired charging support.
