The Realme P1 series has been launched in India. These devices will come with features such as a 120Hz AMOLED display, a 50 MP Sony LYT600 camera, 45W fast charging, and 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage at a low price of Rs.15,999. Two models have been kept in this series: Realme P1 and Realme P1 Pro 5G.
Dipslay & Protection Design
First, we will discuss the similarities between these devices, which include a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, 2000 nits peak brightness, 2400 x 1080 pixels resolutions, 240 Hz touch sampling rate, TUV Rheinland certification, and in-display fingerprint sensors. Only Realme P1 supports the Rainwater touch. It has been upgraded with mini capsule 2.0 with animation design, a 7-layer VC cooling system, and IP54 ratings.
Operating System & Processor Feature
Additionally, the Realme P1 Pro includes a curved panel, Pro XDR, 2160 Hz PWM dimming, and Hyper Precise Touch Support. Realme P1 5G includes features of MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC and Mali G68 MC4 for GPU. Apart from that, Realme P1 Pro 5G is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC with Adreno GPU paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 Native storage that can be expanded via a microSD Card. This series will rely on Android 14 based on Realme UI 5.0 for the operating system. The company promises three years of OS updates and four years of security patch updates for the Pro version.
Camera & Charging
Both the phones come with dual cameras on the back, which will include a 50 MP Sony LYT600 primary camera with a new B&W lens and a 2MP secondary sensor, but the Realme P1 Pro 5G will include an 8 MP portrait sensor as well as a 16 MP of front camera included in both. This series may have a 5000 mAh Battery with 45W fast charging support. Some of the features that differentiate the Realme P1 from the Realme P1 Pro 5G include a tactile engine, 3D VC cooling system, IP65 rating, and anti-accidental touch algorithm.
Price & Availability
If we look at the price of this series, the 6/128 GB storage in Realme P1 has been kept at Rs.15,999, and the price of 8/256 GB has been kept at Rs. 18,999. On the other hand, the Realme P1 Pro 5G is priced at Rs. 21,999 for the 8/128 GB and Rs. 22,999 for the 8/256 GB. Realme P1 5G will be sold in two color options – Peacock Green and Phoenix Red, while Realme P1 Pro 5G will be sold in Parrot Blue and Phoenix Red colors options.
