Leading smartphone maker OPPO launched the much-awaited foldable smartphone OPPO Find N2 Flip at the global launch event in London after its launch in China. Oppo’s new Find N2 Flip comes with the latest version of Android 13 and ColorOS. Also, it might get Android 14 before the end of the year after Google makes it available, but now, how many firmware updates will the OPPO Find N2 Flip get in its lifetime?

OPPO Update Policy:

In December 2022, OPPO announced the new ColorOS update policy. This includes a commitment to guarantee four major ColorOS updates and 5 years of security patches for OPPO fans on selected flagship models starting in 2023. Through this, OPPO aims to build on ColorOS to bring global users a longer-lasting and more stable intelligent experience. 

OPPO Find N2 Flip Will Get Up To Four Major Android Updates:

During the global launch event, OPPO confirmed the software update policy for the OPPO Find N2 Flip. The first flip-style foldable smartphone will receive 4 major Android and 5 years of security updates. Thus, in terms of performance and external technical features, the device will provide its users with the best stability and reliable upgrades.

Yesterday, ColorOS shared a tweet on its Twitter handle with the king of the floodable clamshell market, and OPPO Find N2 Flip. Accordingly, the post read that the FInd N2 Flip is the first OPPO flagship product to support 4 years of Android versions and 5 years of security updates.

OPPO Find N2 Flip comes with Android 13-based ColorOS 13 out-of-the-box. As a result, the latest foldable smartphone will get four significant iterations, including Android 14, Android 15, Android 16, and Android 17. It will get security updates for five years with new features, bug fixes, enhancements, and customization options.
