In December 2022, OPPO extended the software update policy for its smartphones, four years of major OS Updates and five years of security patch updates. This policy will be applicable for a device released in 2023 and later. For older devices policy will be the same as the previous one. i.e., three years of a major update and four years of a security patch update.
