Ultimately, these tweaks will make your device offer effective and better functioning.

The first feature drop of 2023 is coming out, according to inputs, and it’s packed with new features and improvements that will make your Pixel phone and watch more valuable and secure than ever. The update has started rolling out to devices on March 13 and will continue for the next few weeks.

New For Pixel: March 2023 Feature Drop

Night Sight:

Introduced last year with the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, the faster Night Sight feature is expanding to the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro phones with the March Feature Drop update. Thanks to new algorithms powered by Google Tensor, the feature can capture low-light photos faster, even on your Pixel 6 series.

Magic Eraser:

With this update, Magic Eraser is available on more Pixel phones. In other words, the Pixel 6 and later exclusive Magic Eraser feature is making its way to older Pixel phones. With this feature, Pixel users use it in the Google Photos app to easily remove distractions like photobombers or change the color and brightness of an object so that it blends in properly.

Direct My Call:

The Direct My Call feature is widely available on the Pixel 4a and newer phones. Plus, you’ll see menu options ahead of time so you can get to the correct extension even faster when you call the most popular toll-free numbers in the US.

Health and Fitness:

Pixel devices also feature integrated Health Connect, which connects and shares data from your compatible health and fitness apps. This feature stores your data on the device and gives you a central set of controls to manage your health and fitness data.

Fall Detection:

Google’s Pixel Watch finally got a fall detection feature that can detect if you’ve taken a hard fall and connect you to emergency services. Once connected to emergency services, your Pixel Watch plays an automated message wherever you are.

Wear OS 3:

Google announced that new sound and display settings are coming on Wear OS 3+ in the coming weeks, making it easier to customize your Pixel Watch’s audio and visual experiences.
