One UI 5.1 New Dynamic Widgets

On 1 February 2023, Samsung unveiled One UI 5.1 at Unpacked 2023 when it announced the Galaxy S23 smartphone series. One UI 5.1 brings many new features and improvements and exceeds expectations for what was essentially a minor update after One UI 5.0. And among the latest additions, you’ll find a new dynamic widget for the home screen.

The flagship One UI 5.1 update is available for some Galaxy S series, Galaxy A series, and foldable devices and should be rolling out to more phones and tablets in the coming weeks. This update brings many new features to provide the latest innovations to Galaxy users, the Dynamic Weather Widget and Battery Widget feature being a good example under the dynamic widget for the home screen.

One UI 5.1: Dynamic Weather Widget

Dynamic Weather Widget lets you check important information like the place, temperature, UN index, and day/night on your smartphone’s home screen. With One UI 5.1, Samsung has improved the dynamic weather widget so that users can see more details and valuable information, such as severe weather alerts, daily weather summaries, and forecasts.

Furthermore, the company has compiled animations for the weather widgets with the One UI 5.1 update. These animations featured a man character walking in frames created for the occasion to represent the Weather.

One UI 5.1: Dynamic Battery Widget:

With One UI 5.1, the Battery Widget shows you information about the battery status of your phone and all other connected devices at a glance. With this, you can quickly check the Battery of your smartwatch, buds, and other Bluetooth devices so that you can charge them before they get discharged.

Furthermore, the Korean tech giant offers this widget in two formats, one in circles and the other as a list. In the Battery circles, the logo of the phone, buds, watch, etc., is shown along with the Battery. The list widget also shows the name of the connected devices and their battery status.
