Realme usually releases a major Android update for its devices along with a new version of its Realme UI software. And the major Android update first hit Realme’s latest GT flagship smartphone lineup. This means the company’s Realme update will be based on Android 14 and first be released for the Realme GT3. As we all know that Google has already released the Android 14 timeline, and recently the Android 14 Developer Preview 2 update was released for Pixel devices on March 8, 2023. Since Realme UI 5.0 will be a major software update based on Android 14, it will likely come with improved software design, more personalization options, better performance, and a host of new features. It could also offer better security and privacy between Realme smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, TVs, and laptops.
Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 will be the last major OS and UI update for the following Realme phones and tablets. These Realme devices will not get Android 14 and Realme UI 5.0 but will continue to receive monthly security patches for now. If your device runs older than the Android 13 OS version and is not on the list, then it will also not get Android 14.
Although some popular devices are running Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0, they will not get the next Realme UI 5.0 update, and their names are listed below.
