One UI 5.1: How To Add Contact Widgets On Home Screen

As mentioned above, ‘Direct Dial (4×1)’ is one of the new widgets. In this widget, you can add up to four contact numbers for direct calling. Now, with the One UI 5.1, you can add four types of contacts widgets to your device, including Contact (1×1), Direct Dial (1×1), Direct Message (1×1), and Direct Dial (4×1). How To Add A New Contacts Widget?

First, tap and hold on a space on the home screen and click on the Widgets option. Here, scroll down and click on Contacts. Now you can see a big contact widget (Direct Dial (4×1) and tap on it. Here, tap Add option, select four important contact numbers, and tap Done.

How To Customize A New Contacts Widget?

To customize the Contacts widget, you need to open the Settings option that appears after tapping and holding the widget. Through this, you can customize contacts, background color, opacity, and dark mode.
