OnePlus Nord Series Software Maintenance Schedule [Update Policy]

OnePlus extended the new OxygenOS update policy in November 2022. This includes a commitment to guaranteeing four major Android OS (OxygenOS) updates and five years of security patches on select flagship models starting in 2023. Now, the question is whether the OnePlus Nord series devices will get many updates in their lifetime.

Through the new Software Maintenance Schedule, the Chinese tech giant aims to bring users longer-lasting and more stable intelligent experiences by continuing to build on OxygenOS. Currently, the OnePlus 11 is the company’s first smartphone under the new software policy that matches Samsung.

On the other hand, the brand committed to guaranteeing three major OxygenOS updates and four years of security updates for its flagship phones, such as the OnePlus 11R, OnePlus 10 Series, OnePlus 9 Series and OnePlus 8 Series.

As per the information, the OnePlus Nord and Nord CE devices will get two major OS updates and three years of security patches.
