Realme UI 4.0 is the latest customizable operating system offered by the Chinese tech giant for its smartphones. The company has rolled out this latest OS to almost every device, whether it is a flagship or a mid-range one. The custom UI brings many new features, functions, and other options. Among these features, one of them is Realme UI 4.0 Optimizes night charging.

Moreover, many times we put our device on charging at night and forget to remove it from charging; our smartphones are so smart that they automatically stop charging when they charge 100%, but The night is too long, and the power supply doesn’t turn off, which can drain the battery even faster. Hence, to negate this effect, most OEMs like Realme ship their smartphones with a feature called Optimized Night Charging.

Realme UI 4.0 Optimized Night Charging:

With Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0, the company introduced optimized night charging for its smartphones, and now, with Realme UI 4.0, the feature is more advanced and easier to understand. As per the description of the Realme UI 4.0 Optimized Night Charging option, it says, “To decelerate battery aging, your device learns your sleep schedule and waits to finish charging past 80% until just before you wake up.”

The description suggests that when you charge your phone at night and fall asleep, the feature charges all night and is fully charged in the morning. Also, the first and normal chargers have speed charging up to 80%; after that, it will slow down and take the whole night to charge to 100% fully.

How to Enable Optimized Night Charging in Realme UI Devices

First, open Settings on your smartphone, then scroll down to Battery and click on it. Now you will see many options. After that, turn on the toggle of Optimized Night Charging. Now, your device learns your sleep schedule and waits to finish charging after 80% until just before you wake up to reduce battery aging.
