WhatsApp Beta Update Brings Ability To Share Status To Facebook Story

WhatsApp is constantly working to bring great new and valuable features to both Android and iOS platforms. Recently, the company introduced the ability to log into the same WhatsApp account on four more devices. Now, the company started rolling out a new beta update for WhatsApp that allows users to share statuses in the form of Facebook Stories is coming soon.

According to WABetaInfo, the new Android beta of the WhatsApp Messenger app allows some users to share status updates as a Facebook Story. The integration is similar to what you should have experienced when sharing a story on Facebook, the same as Instagram Story.

As per information, WhatsApp beta for Android comes with version number and brings the ability to share status updates on Facebook story feed in some accounts. As always, the feature is expected to be available to more beta testers via future builds in the coming days. As of now, this update is currently rolled out for limited users.

Soon you can show the status as a Facebook story. For that, open the WhatsApp app on your Android smartphone, tap on three dot options, and see a setting here. Here under the Privacy option, tap on the Status Privacy section. The new Facebook option is added under the “Share to my accounts” heading. We expect Messenger to add more account options like Instagram Story after the successful testing of Facebook Story.

When enabled, status updates will be automatically posted to Facebook Story without leaving WhatsApp. Although, you can still control which status updates are always shared, and you can manage who sees the status updates you share on Facebook Stories from within the Facebook app.
