OPPO Find N2 Flip Is First Foldable To Join Android 14 Beta Program

Along with a few other OEMs, OPPO has also announced exciting news for its Find N2 Flip users through the Android 14 Beta program. Gathering feedback on new features and improvements is an important part of improving ColorOS for everyone. It is part of. Happily, with this Android 14 developer preview process, the OPPO Find N2 Flip smartphone has become the first smartphone to get a taste of ColorOS 14.

Notably, this Android 14 build is still in the early development stage, and some features may be missing or not working. If you expect to use the device as a daily driver, it is better suited for developers and other advanced users with little or no experience in software development. We recommend only flashing this ROM if you have experience with ROM. ,

After you upgrade to Android 14 beta, your phone storage will be formatted, and all your data will be erased. We recommend exercising caution with betas and backing up your information. Notably, the Android 14 beta will be adapted to the latest Google GMS package, and native apps that mimic the GMS package will not be maintained. The beta is available for OPPO Find N2 Flip models in India, Malaysia, and Thailand.

Moving on, this OPPO Android 14 beta only supports OPPO Find N2 Flip. Other models are not supported at the moment. To install this update, Please make sure the battery level is above 30% and a minimum of 4GB of storage space is available, and developer mode is on. Now, Go back to Settings -> About device -> Click the top card->Click the top right button -> Local install -> Click on the corresponding installation package (from oppomobile.com) -> Extract

OPPO noted several major issues with the first Android 14 beta on the OPPO Find N2 Flip, including a “red screen” when using Wi-Fi, screen wallpaper, lock screen clock, black screen, fingerprint, and more. The complete list of known issues is as follows:

  • Secondary screen wallpaper is displayed in black after application.
  • A display malfunction issue of the lock screen clock on the secondary screen.
  • Probable black screen when using smart AOD cards.
  • Unable to enter the password when unlocking the secondary screen.
  • Probable failure during enrolling the fingerprint.
  • Black screen after double pressing the power button.
