Realme GT 2 Pro Just Got Its First Android 14 Beta

Google I/O was quiet about Android 14, but the US tech giant released beta 2 for Pixel phones yesterday. Meanwhile, the Android 14 beta program is now available on select partner phones and tablets and is foldable for the first time. Today, Realme is now joining the fun, with the first Android 14 beta now available for the Realme GT2 Pro.

Realme Android, 14 preview version for developers, supports Realme GT 2 Pro with the Realme UI build number RMX3301_F.01. Other models do not support this beta update. Developed based on Android 14 Beta 1, Realme Android 14 preview Version for Developers adopts the UI design style of Realme UI.

Moreover, this update is available for download now. Android 14 Beta 1 for Realme GT 2 Pro allows developers to test their apps on Android 14 on Realme hardware. In addition, you should meet some eligibility criteria to actively participate in this beta program. For instance, your Realme GT 2 Pro phone must have the baseline version Android 13 (RMX3301_C.16) to install the Android 14 Developer Preview (RMX3301_F.01).

To install this update, you must have at least 4GB of storage and developer mode on. Now, Go to Settings > Software Update > Settings in the upper right corner > Manually select the installation package from Realme Community website select file. 

The Android 14 Developer Preview is still in the beta testing phase, yet it’s the first step before rolling out as a version of the software. Therefore, you are advised to consider the same before participating in this internal activity.

The Chinese noted several major issues with the first Android 14 beta on the Realme GT 2 Pro, including system-related issues, you can check below.

1. All user data will be erased during the upgrade.

2. Some system functions are not available.

3. Part of the interface display may look less than desirable.

4. Some applications may not work properly or be fully functional.

5. The system may have some stability issues.
