Android 13 QPR3 Beta 3.2 released, fixes Wi-Fi Connectivity, System UI Issues, and more

Google announced Android 13 QPR3 beta 3.2, fixing a massive list of bugs and problems. In tandem with Android 14, the US tech giant is working on development for the Pixel June 2023 feature drop by running the Android 13 QPR3 beta program.

Moving on, Google published the complete changelog of the QPR3 Beta 3.2 release, which mentions fixes for the input synchronization issue with the system UI, Wi-Fi calling issue, SIM card setup issue, IMS over Wi-Fi problem, cellular connectivity, and more. According to the information, Pixel smartphones launched after Pixel 4a can get the Android 13 QPR3 Beta 3 update. Talking about version and availability, the new Android 13 beta is rolling out with version T3B3.230413.009 along with May 2023 security patch. Conversely, Pixel 6, 6 Pro, and 6a on Verizon are getting the update with build number T3B3.230413.009.A1, along with the April 2023 security patch.

Earlier this month, the search engine giant released the Android 14 Beta 2 for supported Pixel phones. The new OS brings several new tools, which include enhancements around camera and media, privacy and security, system UI, and developer productivity.

If you have a Pixel device, from the Pixel 7 series to the Pixel 4a, that’s already running the QPR3 beta, you’ll automatically get the latest rollout via OTA. In addition, this 3.2 beta of QPR3 includes the next round of bug fixes and improvements such as stability and performance improvements.

  • Fixed an input synchronization issue with the system UI that caused windows to stop receiving touch input or to receive touch input in the wrong location. (Issue #279560321)
  • Fixed an issue that could cause calls over Wi-Fi to disconnect unexpectedly.
  • Fixed issue that could prevent a SIM card from being detected properly or from being activated during phone setup.
  • Fixed an issue where a device could fail to register IMS over Wi-Fi when leaving LTE coverage and entering Wi-Fi coverage.
  • Fixed issues that caused unexpected dips with cellular connectivity speeds or reliability.
