Some Popular OnePlus Devices Won’t Get OxygenOS 14 (Android 14)

Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 will be the next comprehensive OxygenOS customization layer introduced after OxygenOS 13.1 for OnePlus devices. Have you thought about OnePlus OxygenOS 14 Eligible and Ineligible devices?
Android 14 has already released two developer previews, and both pack a lot of groundwork for the next generation of Android that’s due for release in late August. April and May are the months of public beta rollout (Beta 1 and Beta 2) of Android 14, however, platform stability can be achieved in June/July, followed by a stable release later this year, a few days after Android 14 is released.
Premium OnePlus devices launched after the OnePlus 8 series are eligible for three major OS upgrades. On the other hand, select flagships starting in 2023 are also eligible to receive four generations of Android upgrades and five years of security patches.
The OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 8 series flagship smartphones are no longer eligible for major firmware upgrades. This is because brands changed their software features, often incompatible with the device mechanism.
Lastly, flagship, as well as entry-level OnePlus devices, will receive the OxygenOS 14 upgrade. However, some of them will not benefit from the upcoming iterations. You can see the complete list of ineligible devices below.
OnePlus OxygenOS 14 Ineligible devices:
- OnePlus 8
- OnePlus 8 Pro
- OnePlus 8T
- OnePlus Nord 2
- OnePlus Nord CE 2
- OnePlus Nord CE 5G
- OnePlus Nord N200 5G
- OnePlus Nord N20 SE
