Nothing Phone 2 Will Come With Bigger Battery Than Phone 1

Nothing Phone 2 is the next Nothing handset that will launch in the summer of 2023. So far, several rumors, leaks, renders, and more information surfaced online which revealed its design, processor, and more. In a recent development, the company is planning to increase the battery capacity of the upcoming Nothing Phone 2 smartphones.

According to the information (via Forbes interview), the Consumer tech giant will use a bigger battery in the next generation of Nothing smartphones as the company is boosting the capacity of the battery by approximately 5%.

Nothing co-founder and CEO Carl Pei has confirmed in an interview with Forbes that the Nothing Phone 2 device will have the model number A065. Furthermore, the Nothing Phone 2 will pack a 4,700mAh battery. Furthermore, the information further suggests that the Nothing Phone (2) model will come with a bigger battery than the existing Phone 1.

Although it’s 200mAh up from the current model, it’s great that there’s no downgrade or equalization of capacity. In case you don’t know, the Phone 1 comes with a typical 4,500mAh battery accordingly, the Nothing Phone 2 will feature a 4,700mAh.

The interview also confirmed that the chip and battery combine to give us an “80% overall performance improvement” over the Phone 1. Furthermore, the leak suggests that the Nothing Phone 2 will launch in July 2023.

Earlier, Carl Pei had confirmed that the Nothing Phone (2) will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset that not only improves the performance of the device but also offers better battery life and camera capabilities.
