As per the latest reports, Android users can now start preloading their favorite games from the Google Play Store. Although the game can be launched from May 29, but it is now ready for preloading. If you can’t pre-load now, this update is rolling out gradually over the weekend.
On the other hand, for iOS users, you can download the game on May 29 and start playing. BGMI app is getting a new update, which arrives with version 2.5.0. The latest update is available on Google Play Store with an installation package of 380 MB and resource package 1079MB. The update is compatible with Android devices running Android 10 or later.

The Government of India has finally lifted the ban on the hugely popular mobile game Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). Earlier reports suggest that after a 10-month ban, the game is being reintroduced for a trial period of 90 days. Now the good news for BGMI users is that the game is newly available to download on the Google Play Store.
To recall, Battlegrounds Mobile India/BGMI was released on 2 July 2021 for Android devices and on 18 August 2021 for iOS devices. Post-launch, BGMI has been a huge success in India, with BGMI providing all PUBG Mobile players with a game that gives them a gaming experience to fill the void that was left after the ban on PUBG Mobile.

BGMI is now available to download in India. It is not yet available on the Google Play Store, but there is already a link to download the game. This comes shortly after Krafton announced that the government has finally agreed to lift the ban on BGMI and that it will soon be available to download.

Worth mentioning BGMI isn’t listed on the Play Store yet, so it won’t show up if you search for it. But still, it is possible to download and install the game through the mentioned link. We tried it, and the download was successful, but we can’t play the game right now because the server is not live. But since there is now an official way to download the Krafton game, it is expected to be listed on Google Play Store very soon.
