After installing this latest update, you can drag tables in a document and place them directly where you want, and Set a fixed position for a table on a page. In addition, the company supports the import/export of Microsoft Word documents with tables up front so that your documents remain consistent.
According to the information, this latest update for Google Docs is being gradually rolled out for beta testers through rapid release from June 14. Also, this new feature will be available for common customers from June 27.
