Twitter Imposes Daily Limit On Post Views For All Of Its Users

On October 27, 2022, Elon Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion after months of negotiations. Since then, he has made several changes to Twitter, from replacing CEO Parag Agarwal to moving from verified blue ticks to now announcing a daily limit of post views for all its users. Following this, Twitter has become the first social media network to limit the number of posts users can see.
On July 1, Twitter owner and former CEO Elon Musk announced that Twitter is implementing a temporary limit on the number of posts users can read per day.
According to the Twitter post, verified accounts are limited to reading 6000 posts per day, unverified accounts are limited to reading 600 posts daily, and new unverified accounts are limited to reading 300 posts daily.
In imposing the new ban on posts/days, the company notes excessive levels of data scraping and system manipulation. Also, the reason for the “view limit” is that we are all addicted to Twitter, and we need to go outside. On the other hand, Musk said he is doing a good deed for the world here. Besides, this is another view you just used.
Also, the former CEO of Twitter, Elon Musk, said that they had implemented a temporary limit on post/day views. In the coming days, the rate limit will soon be increased to 8000 for Verified, 800 for Unverified, and 400 for New Unverified.
