Direct Replies Using Google Messages For Web Are Getting Faster With A New Option

Unlike the RCS chats on Android, Google Web Messages can now directly reply to the RCS chats. Direct messaging has finally arrived on the Web, allowing users to select a particular message when responding.

You can even make voice or video calls on your computer device through Google Web Messages, along with sharing text messages, photos, or videos. This Google message feature for the Web allows users to customize their messages after sending.

However, before the feature arrived, users had only two options to reply to any RCS chat on the Web, either copy the particular text or delete the text message. However, with the inline reply feature, users can now directly reply to the RCS chats on the Web.

Apart from this, the Google Web Message feature has a drawback in that it only works in chats when you have RCS chats enabled on your device. Also, it was noticed that the messages on the Wear OS had been updated with new designs when you hover over a particular message, which is a capsule-shaped box instead of the filled boxes.

To use the Google Message feature, you need to navigate to the Google Message App, simply hover over the received message which you want to reply to, and click on the reply button; after clicking on the reply button, you can either type a message or react to the message using an Emoji. Once done, click on the send button.
