Samsung Note 20 July 2023 Update Rolling Out

After the Galaxy Note 10 series, Samsung has started rolling out the July 2023 security update for its Galaxy Note 20 series smartphones. The new update is available in a few Latin American countries, and the company will soon be expanding the update to more models.

As per the official details, the July 2023 security patch fixes around 100 security vulnerabilities found in Galaxy smartphones. This is a regular update, so it doesn’t bring any new features or changes apart from security maintenance.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra users can identify the July 2023 update through N98*FXXS7HWG2. The update is currently rolling out in Argentina, Bolivia, and Peru, and we expect the new update to be released in more Latin American countries within the next few days and worldwide by the end of this month.

If you got the update notification, then install it now for a bug-free experience. You can also check for updates by going to the Settings app on your Galaxy smartphone and opening the Software Update section.

Now, tap on the Download and Install option. If an update is available, you can follow the on-screen instructions to install the update on your smartphone.

Galaxy Note 20 series Android 14:

Samsung launched Galaxy Note 20 series with Android 10 out of the box. It is expected to receive the Android 11 and Android 12 updates in late 2020 and 2021, respectively. Also, Samsung released the Android 13 update for the Galaxy Note 20 series in late 2022, their last major Android update, while One UI 5.1 is likely to be the previous One UI version for both phones.
