These Applications Support Photo Picker On Android 13

Google has always been working to improve the user experience in its apps. In the same context, with the Android 13, Google has introduced its Photo Picker feature, which is very helpful, presents the media library, and allows users to access their gallery without any media storage permissions. It also allows users to browse their photo gallery and give access to the specific item within the app.

The Photo Picker is a browsable interface that provides the media library, that is, the photos and videos sorts everything according to the date and time from the newest to the oldest, and integrates the user’s app experience without the requirement of any media storage permissions. This new Photo Picker app has been first introduced in Android 13. Now Google is providing flexibility to move this new Photo Picker option to the other Google apps.

In the recent Play System July 2023 update, Google also expanded the Photo Picker availability to more apps such as Google Chat and Keep. Instead of using the old file selector, which is used to share files or folders from your device, the new photo picker has been introduced, which shows the thumbnail of the media which has to be shared.

For your information, the Photo Picker is consistently working in Google Keep, which triggers the Photo Picker any time when you will use the “add image” button. While in some other apps, this Photo Picker is not working properly. Here are the more Google apps and other third-party applications provided to you which have the Photo Picker feature.
