  • Open Google’s Account Recovery Page.
  • It will ask for your Email; click on the Forgot Email option.
  • Now enter the Recovery phone number or Email which you have provided while creating a Google account.
  • Tap on Next.
  • You will be asked to enter your First and Last name.
  • After entering your full name, click on Next.
  • A screen will appear asking you to Get a Verification Code; click on Send.
  • It will send you a verification code in your email or message inbox.
  • Enter the verification code and tap Next.
  • You will be shown a few Google accounts; select the appropriate one.
  • Enter the Password and click Next.
  • At last, Verify your login info using Two-Step Verification.

If you have forgotten your Google account password, it is very easy to get back your account. All you need is to follow these steps:

  • Head to Google Account Recovery Page.
  • Enter your Email Address.
  • Under the Account Recovery setup, Click Next.
  • You will be asked to send a verification code; you can choose either of two options: enter your Password or send a verification code to email.
  • You must enter the last Password you remembered by choosing the Enter your Password Option.
  • Similarly, if you choose the Get a Verification Code option. This option is applicable only when you forget your Password.
  •  Click Next.
  • If none of the options works, click Try Another Way to sign in.
  • Click on Yes, which allows you to log in, and then select Yes. It’s my option.
  • Enter the previous recovery code in the Enter One Of Your 8-digit Backup code box.
  • Even this option could be more helpful. Click on the Try Another Way option, which will ask for your phone number linked to your Google account. Ensuring your safety, it will only show the last two digits of your number.
  • Tap on the Send option. A verification code will be sent to your number.
  • Enter the verification code.
  • Click Next.
  • If this option doesn’t work, click on the Try another way option again. This time Google will send you the reset link after 72 hours.
  • Tap on Verify to finish the setup. You will be asked to enter a new password. Enter a strong and unique password and keep it safe.
