YouTube Starts Testing ‘Stable Volume’ To Improve Sound Of Videos

YouTube is constantly getting updates with the latest features that will magnify the user’s experience. It has more than 2.5 billion monthly users, who, all in all, watch more than one billion hours of videos each day. And it is possible because it is always trying to stay current. Recently it is getting a new feature named “Stable Volume” in the video settings.

Since the platform hasn’t announced any official information about this YouTube “Stable Volume” feature, like what this feature actually does, it does not seem like it is available for all of us yet. According to the reports, this feature on the video setting page appears between the Ambient Mode and Report Option.

Hence, it is unclear what this feature’s setting does and how it performs. The name of the feature suggests itself that it helps control and set the same volume pitch for all the videos. Maybe this feature will be a resolution of the sudden & sharp volume jump while watching the videos of different creators and channels.

For now we can only wait for an official announcement from the platform. Here’s how to turn the YouTube “Stable volume” feature on and off

YouTube “Stable Volume” feature – How to use:
