Since the launch, Threads have continued receiving new updates at the convenience of the users.in the recent development, the company has started rolling out a new update for Threads on iOS, which includes built-in translation with a new follow tab.
Instagram, an iOS app’s engineer Cameron Roth, informed about this Threads new update by sharing a post on Threads, including translation and many other interesting and amazing features.

Threads New Features:
The main focus of this update is on the “Follows” Tab. Earlier Threads listed users’ recent followers on the activity page in its all tab. But now, because of this update, users can easily find new followers. In a way, it gives a relaxing breath to the user’s experience. This latest update also includes two new filters for “Repost” as well as “Quotes”. Now users are eligible to filter his recent activity by who reposted or quoted his thread.
Another facility provided by the Threads to the users is if they follow people of other countries, so at the bottom of a post with like, share, and repost buttons, one additional live translation option appears. This updated feature will help the users to understand the language of other countries easily.
This update contains various other features also, which are as follows:
- Users can subscribe to unfollowed people.
- It provides improvements in activity feed and loading.
- This update also allows the users to open IG followers list.
- Various small crash fixes.
Roth also mentioned that if these changes are not visible to the users, they can restart the app or wait until the end of the day.
