New Galaxy S23 Beta Spotted, One UI 6 Beta 1 Is Around The Corner

The end of July is shaping up to be an exciting month for Samsung fans, both on the hardware and software front. For software, the company may release the One UI 6.0 beta program for Galaxy S23 later this month.

As for the hardware side, the Korean giant will unveil its new flagship foldable tablets and smartwatches on July 26. If all goes well, Samsung will also launch the Android 14 One UI 6.0 beta program for the Galaxy S23 lineup after the Galaxy Unpacked, which is scheduled on July 26.

For a while, Samsung has been working on the One UI 6.0 firmware for the Galaxy S23 series. A few days back, internal testing of One UI 6.0 was spotted on Samsung servers in Korea, and the software was spotted in Europe and India in early July.

And Samsung has made further progress since then, as again today, a Galaxy S23 Ultra One UI 6.0 beta build – sporting firmware version S918BXXU3ZWGA – was spotted on Samsung’s Korean servers.

A version number ending in ZWGA indicates that the beta is nearing completion and may be released soon. And GA indicates a major update happened behind closed doors in the One UI 6.0 test build.

Furthermore, the latest spotted version hints that the One UI 6.0 open beta program for the Galaxy S23 series is almost here and ready to be distributed via the Members app.
