Latest Hotfix Update for Nothing Phone (2) Fixes These Bugs

Ending months of leaks, rumours and hype, the Nothing Phone 2 was unveiled mid-July. Compared to the Phone 1, the Phone 2 improves in every major area, including performance, cameras, and availability. A few days ago, Nothing rolled out a major camera-centric update for the phone to provide a seamless user experience. The company is again rolling out a new hotfix software update for Nothing Phone 2.

As you know, OnePlus worked relentlessly to improve the Phone 1 with regular software updates in the months following its launch. Now, the company is following the same path as the Phone 2. Now, the company started a second Nothing OS update for Phone 2. You can get the 2.85MB update on your Phone 2 from Settings > System > System update.

According to the changelog, this hotfix update fixes an issue that caused the volume level between apps to be lower than expected. Additionally, it adjusted the image’s brightness from photos taken in low light.

This new firmware may include the July 2023 security patch, which brings fixes for several vulnerabilities and risks that were harming user privacy and security. In addition, the new firmware improves the system security and stability of the device as well as boosts performance to deliver a better experience.

On the flip side, the company recently introduced a new Nothing Icon Pack application, which is available to download for Phone 2 via Play StoreThis app comes with a Nothing-style monochrome colour scheme and allows your third-party apps to combine app icons with your Nothing widgets for a single look.
