OnePlus 13 Could Use Qualcomm’s Modified Processor With Nuvia Core

After the OnePlus 10 Pro, OnePlus launched its successor – the OnePlus 11, at the Cloud 11 launch event 2023 in early February. The latest flagship from OnePlus is powered by Qualcomm’s most powerful chipset ever, which is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. In 2022, the company launched the OnePlus 10 series, in which the 10 Pro uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. However, next year’s flagship OnePlus 12 units are rumored to bring Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chips. In 2025, the OnePlus 13 is expected to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.

OnePlus 13 could use 3nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processing with many upgrades.

If the company follows the same tradition for its flagships as the OnePlus 10 series and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, then the OnePlus 13 could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, which is expected to launch at the end of 2024, and we can expect the OnePlus 13 is expected to launch in early 2025.

 Snapdragon 8 Gen 4

Qualcomm has changed the game in the processing industry by unveiling the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Now that all eyes are on the third-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, meanwhile, some interesting details about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip have now emerged.

According to the report, The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 could be launched before the end of 2024 and will use Qualcomm’s Nuvia CPU cores. The fourth upcoming processor is rumoured to have two Phoenix high-performance CPU cores and four Phoenix power-efficient CPU cores. The chip will reportedly be made by TSMC using its own 3nm (N3E) manufacturing process instead of the advanced 3nm GAP process.

According to this report, Qualcomm is expected to switch to in-house Nuvia CPU cores, which are expected to perform similarly to Apple’s A-series and M-series chips.
