YouTube Raises The Bar For Shorts With Its New Creation Tools

YouTube introduced Shorts to provide a better and more convenient experience for creators. It provides a fun way to create and share short, fun videos on YouTube and continues to expand this feature so creators can showcase their talent and creativity. The Google-owned social media platform is now introducing new creative tools to take your shorts to the next level, making it easier for users to create shorts related to their interests.

YouTube Shorts:

According to the information, over 2 billion people watch YouTube Shorts every month. On YouTube shorts, people can share their created videos which are up to 60 seconds long, add music to the video as well as captions on the shorts and more. The popularly known social media platform has already started transforming the shorts by introducing various creation tools.

So here are several new ways to create your shorts using various creation tools. 

  • Experiment with new effects & stickers:

YouTube has already added dozens of shorts effects and stickers. Now the company will start rolling out the new Q & A sticker, which will allow users to ask any question to their followers. However, the answers to the question will appear in the comment section. Also, you can give reply to a comment using a Short and give a shoutout to the person who has inspired you to make that short.

  • A new way to remix with Collab:

Collab, a new creative tool that allows users to create a side-by-side format video with the other YouTube shorts, with a number of layout options, are there to choose from. You just need to tap on the Remix and select Collab. You can use 1-5 seconds of part from any YouTube video or short to create your own Shorts.

  • Streamline your creations with suggestions:

YouTube automatically provides you with the same audio from the shorts which you have recently watched, with the same effects as a part of the creation suggestion. If you want, you can mix and match the shorts and make them yours.

  • Save shorts to your playlist:

Recently, YouTube has introduced an option for users to save the shorts in their playlists. So you can get your favourite shorts directly from the shorts feed. 

  • Go live and get discovered on shorts:

With the introduction of live creation tools, creators can now connect to their audience while going live. Content creators can go live just by following a few steps: ensure that your phone orientation is set to vertical and that features such as super chat, super stickers, and channel memberships are present. 

  •   An easier way to transform your videos into shorts:

YouTube will soon roll out a recomposition tool that will allow users to transform their horizontal YouTube videos into vertical shorts seamlessly. You can choose various layout options available.
