iOS 17 Allow Users To Create Shortcuts For Camera Modes

Apple always keeps working on its technology to provide a better iPhone experience to its users. Talking about the shortcut app, Apple has seen much evolution ever since the company obtained the Workflow in 2017. It allows users to create a series of automation on their iPhone, iPad, Mac, and also on their Apple Watch. Now Apple brings a new feature with iOS 17, allowing users to create shortcuts for the Camera app modes. 

According to the information, the new iOS 17 beta, which is currently available to developers and several beta testers, allows users to add new shortcuts to open a particular camera mode in the camera app. Apple has now added the Open Camera action in which users can choose different camera modes and open either preset using shortcuts.

Moreover, iOS 17 offers nine camera modes, which might vary according to the device and region.

  • Selfie
  • Video
  • Portrait
  • Portrait Selfie
  • Cinematic
  • Slo-Mo
  • Time-Lapse
  • Pano

All these functions are very helpful. It offers the facility to add the options of the camera modes, which you can easily access from your home screen.

Apart from bringing the shortcuts feature for the camera app, iOS 17 offers a handful of interesting features. These features include enhanced and advanced Facetime calls, messages, an introduction to the Standby mode, intuitive home screen widgets, an impressive airdrop feature, a journal that offers news and other information at a glance, contact posters, and more.
