WhatsApp Rolls Out Its Bottom Navigation Bar Beta Update

Whatsapp is rolling out its latest beta update; now, it offers a new tweaked interface with a navigation bar at the bottom. And finally, this beta update is available for some lucky beta users from today.

Meta-owned Whatsapp brings this beta update with its identification build number, which is as 2.23.16.17 firmware version. This update will surely enhance the user’s interface experience. However, it does not bring many new features or changes, but the new bottom navigation bar will offer a modern interface to the users.

Earlier, this navigation bar was visible above in WhatsApp, in which only three tabs were visible, Chats, Status and Calls. But at the moment, with this new beta update version, the navigation bar shifted towards the bottom, and the noticeable point is that it offers four tabs, which include Chats, Status, Communities, and Calls.

The chats tab with the floating action button has been remodelled, displaying an incoming message bubble. However, Whatsapp is removing the ability to swipe between tabs with this beta update. But if the company has done this, then it must have been done with some thought.

Unfortunately, at the moment, this new navigation bar with the beta update is only available for some beta testers, and they can get it from Google Play Store. It is also highly anticipated that this update will be rolled out to even more people as soon as possible.
