YouTube Music stands for music streaming service, which offers the facility of browsing through songs and music videos on YouTube based on playlists and recommendations. It also started its support for podcasts in April 2023. Recently, without even informing quietly, it has increased the maximum number of songs in the users Liked Music playlist.
Previously the users were only eligible to like or add up to 5,000 songs, but now the capability has now increased to 10,000 songs. But the Company didn’t even roll out any notification or update about this new facility; it just quietly gave it away, but whatever happened was convenient.
Earlier, there was the ability to like only 5,000 songs; if it got more than one like, then the oldest songs would be removed from the playlist, due to which users used to lose their favourite songs from the playlist. But now YouTube Music is more concerned about the users, and for more convenience, it increased the capability to like up to 10,000 songs.
The Company did not say anything about this new change, so no one even noted it, but the first to note it is the users on Reddit. Plus, the Company, with an increasing playlist of up to 10,000, also offers the facility that previously, the users liked more than 5,000 songs that were removed from the list will now appear again, and it will suggest that the old songs were not permanently deleted, just stopped appearing.
