Some OnePlus Users Facing System UI Crashing Issues

The OxygenOS 13.1 July 2023 security update brings some function improvements and bug fixes that every OnePlus smartphone user will appreciate. However, some customers are not too happy with the new upgrade. In the latest version, some OnePlus devices in the OxygenOS 13.1 bug list face system UI crashing issues.

OnePlus 9 smartphone users have recently reported that the system UI crashes non-stop and keeps blacking out and crashing. As a result, it keeps resetting the lock screen, stops audio, and has to close apps. Users also claim these issues may occur after installing the OxygenOS 13.1 July 2023 security update.

To resolve OnePlus System UI crashing issues, some phone owners even formatted their devices with the factory reset option. However, this attempt did not solve the problem, and the phone kept crashing on the handset. Some users shared a screenshot on the community forum to demonstrate the issue in the comments section.

Meanwhile, some other users have claimed phone crashing issues on their OnePlus devices after the OxygenOS 13.1 July 2023 upgrade. According to the information, OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9RT, OnePlus 9R, OnePlus 11R, and OnePlus 11 smartphone users face system UI crashing issues after installing the latest security update.

The flip side is that a OnePlus user also claims that his phone locks automatically whenever he receives a message on WhatsApp.

Solution:

As per the reading, a user suggested uninstalling the latest update for the device or returning to the previous Android version using the manual rollback method. Instead of rollback, we recommend factory reset and modification in the Settings menu, as even rollback can damage your data.
