Meta-owned new Threads application has been a constant topic of discussion since its release. And according to the users’ facilities, it also gets many updates according to the time. The brand has rolled out its new update for Threads, which includes three convenient features.
What’s New With This Update:
CEO of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, has revealed that the latest update will provide users with three new facilities; the first one is that users can easily share posts of Threads directly on messages on Instagram. So now, the users can comfortably share another thread directly with their friends on Instagram DMs. Threads already allowed users to share posts from Threads on their big stories and posts. But now, the convenience has been increased by adding the share facility on messages.
The second feature of the update is that users are now eligible to add a custom Alt-Text to the pictures and videos they want to share on Threads, and it also can give people additional context about it. This feature especially helps when the images or videos cannot load for some reason, such as network issues.
The third facility provided through this update is that the brand has added a new mention button to Threads, so now the users can quickly mention or tag someone in their posts and replies. For tagging someone, the users have to type @ where they want to tag and then mention the user’s profile name, select the account, and it’s done.
