Google Assistant Generated Wear OS Tile With Custom Shortcuts

Google continues to work on its innovations and developments to provide a seamless experience. In a recent development, the US tech giant is working on making Assistant even more accessible from your smartwatch by introducing Wear OS Tiles.

Ultimately, the OEM is trying to make your smartwatch-related functionality more accessible. According to the information, these new customization shortcuts were spotted in the latest update, version 1.7.12.

The company also brings a functional Wear OS tile for the Google Assistant with custom shortcuts. As a result, users can activate it with a single tap.

The Google Assistant app ensures the help you need is just a tap away on supported Wear OS smartwatches, including the Pixel Watch and Samsung’s Galaxy Watch series. Despite the smartwatch’s limited hardware, the Assistant on Wear OS is surprisingly quick at transcribing your requests.

In addition to the Assistant on Wear OS-based smartwatches, users can use the Google Home app on Wear OS to manage their smart home or run one of their pre-setup routines or “automation”.
